Chris Cartledge is a professional full time illustrator, painter and concept artist. His designs and logos can be found all over the world and on TV. As a freelance artist for over 20 years and co-owner of Rivalart.com, Chris has been creating logos and illustrations that are too numerous to count.
"I have several passions when painting that have culminated into two different techniques. My love for sports (with) it's energy and action and jazz music which can be just as colorful but more abstract. Drawing illustrations is much more restrictive in color and line. Painting allows me to express myself and the freedom can be quite therapeutic!"
"My style can be described as expressionism... technically. People have remarked on the influence of LeRoy Neiman which I can see in terms of color and sports and music subject matter. But I would consider my style less abstract than Neiman - whom I appreciate greatly."
Clients include Smith Micro, Proctor and Gamble, Clemson University, University of Alabama, University of Texas, University of Michigan, Toon Boom, Rivalart.com, and sports teams all over the world.
Animated character rigs, character creation, concept art, icons, and logos for mobile games, board games and interactive comics.
Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Clip Studio, Toon Boom Harmony, and a real paint brush.
Chris is very professional. He was always accessible through every phase of my project. I have used Chris on two large publishing projects now and I am very pleased with his work.
